About the Speaker:
Dr. Edna Raquel Hogemann is a distinguished legal scholar specializing in human rights and global public policy. She holds a Doctorate in Law and a Post-Doctorate in Human Rights. She previously served as the Dean of the Center for Legal Sciences at the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro and is currently a Permanent Professor in the university’s Master’s Program in Law.
She coordinates the Research Group on Human Rights and Social Transformation (CNPq/Brazil) and is an active member of the Law & Society Association and the International Alliance of Jurists and Economists (France). Her extensive academic contributions include research on social justice, governance, and the role of international institutions in eradicating hunger and promoting sustainable development.
